(What) About me?!
hey there, i’m niloo.
And this is my MemBlog
what’s a memblog, you ask?
Well, for starters, I like making up words and phrases… they’re called Niloo-isms & I can’t control them. So, a MemBlog = a Memoir + a Blog. Ok, now that that’s out of the way, essentially my mission here is to provide you with real yet humorous retellings of my personal escapades- my trials & tribulations if you will-sprinkled with wisdom & lessons learned along the way in hopes of:
Inspiring you to DO THE THING(s) & be the most badass version of yourself possible, and
Making you laugh so hard you pee a little (or a lottle), mostly the latter
I am a single ass, independent ass, adventurous ass, driven ass, smart ass (see what I did there?) 30-something who quit my stable, corporate ass job several months ago to embark upon a mini solo adventure to ‘find myself & my life’s passion’ (cue eye roll) while hopefully figuring out what the eff I want to be when I grow up.
The MemBlog posts that ensue will explain how all of this came about, what has happened along the way, and what I’ve come to learn as a result. I will digress, a lot, but I promise it’ll all make sense in the end… except THE END is not near (god/universe willing) and most things will always be unknown. That’s the beauty of life, right?
It’s all about the JOURNEY (not the band) and the PRESENT. The FUTURE & the final destination (not the movie) is a mystery to us all. And although that can seem really scary at times, it’s also pretty fucking dope because, basically, that means…
Anything is possible if you truly want it To be
I mean, maybe not literally anything, but the proverbial ‘anything’ ya feel me?
So actually, having thought more about it, I don’t promise it’ll all make sense because it sure as heck still doesn’t to me! But I do promise you’ll get a few laughs out of my woes, at the very least, and maybe learn a thing or two about a thing or two because ‘we are humans, ba-badum-bum-bum-bum-bum’.
